Bergslagen is one of the most beautiful places in Sweden.

For decades there's been mining all around and the sites are still there, abandoned.

With 600 meters deep shafts filled with water Bergslagen must be the most scary yet faschinating place to explore.

Here I'll toss in pictures from now and then taken during those interesting visits...



Stripa mine a cold december night. They restored the neonsign at the top of the shaft some years ago, it's really beautiful.

Deep into the mine "Rämsgruvan" where the waterlevel starts at 80 meters.
